About us
The Socialite Academy was founded in 2024 by Alysia Baker, a New Orleans native with a big love for story telling and making things happen.
During undergrad at Southern University and A&M College, she found a liking to film but couldn’t major in it; so, she decided to take her creativity to public relations - where strategy and storytelling come together.
In 2021, she founded On This Bluff, a production organization that deepened her passion for communications and marketing.
After graduating in 2024, Alysia knew the entertainment and lifestyle industry was perfect for her skills. Since PR and Marketing go hand & hand, why not?
